Our prenatal courses are offered in English; however, our website is not bilingual.

Certain documents and email communications are provided in French. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need assistance completing your registration or have any questions.

Rest assured, the course content is entirely in English and will be led by an English-speaking instructor.


Prenatal classes help you to understand the different phases of pregnancy and prepare you for childbirth. What a wonderful place to be! To help you make the most of your pregnancy and the birth of your baby, we've put together a series of four prenatal preparation group sessions covering a range of topics.

Coping with pain and the baby's arrival

Pain is often the most dreaded part of childbirth. In this module, we'll explain the role of pain, and explore various techniques for managing its intensity during labour. Finally, we'll discuss the decisions you will need to make when your baby arrives.

4th trimester: Settling into family life

Our approach is inclusive and non-judgmental, whether you choose to give birth in a hospital, birthing centre or at home. Our role is to provide you with all the information and support you need, respecting your choices and situation.

You'll be part of a small, intimate group where you'll have the space to ask your questions.

Suggested timeframe: 24 to 32 weeks of pregnancy

It is important to start the classes during the suggested timeframe (24 to 32 weeks of pregnancy). To accommodate as many parents as possible, we reserve the right to change your registration to a later date if your due date does not align with the course schedule. We will notify you if this adjustment is necessary. Thank you for your understanding.

Live outside the region?

This course is exclusively offered free of charge to all future parents in the Eastern Townships by Bedon & Bout'chou. For parents outside the Estrie region, we invite you to refer to the perinatal resource centre nearest to you.

Nouvelle politique d'adhésion

Effective à compter du 20 avril 2024.

L'adhésion est obligatoire afin de participer aux services et activités offerts gratuitement chez Bedon et bout'chou.

Ce changement fait suite à diverses réflexions, discussions et à l'analyse d'un sondage effectué auprès des familles qui fréquentent notre organisme.

L'adhésion annuelle est au coût de 10,00$ par famille.

Puisque l'accessibilité de nos services est au coeur de notre mission, il est possible de communiquer avec nous si le coût est trop grand, des solutions existent.
